Moodle 3.7.7 Boost: 2019052000

I have tried several .scss files. I upload the files. Save. Then I go to the preset selector, I choose one of the files I have uploaded. Save. And then nothing.

I have tried: boostDarkNav.scss, darkmode.scss, and kraus-dark.scss.

Am I doing something wrong?

I go to:

Site Administration > Appearance > Boost > Additional theme preset files

To load the files. Then I save.

I go to the Theme preset drop down menu, choose another preset. Save. And then nothing.
