I'm using Moodle version 3.8.1 (Build: 20200113) and Adaptable theme version 2019112603

Yes I have a custom profile field for grade. When a user completes the registration form he/she automatically gets added to a cohort based on grade selection.

I registered as a user for grade 8 now. When I click on the link in the email confirmation it takes me to the confirmation page. When I click on that 'continue' button it takes me to grade 10 instead of grade 8. (See screens prints attached.)
