Site inaccessible after update to Calendar Block

Hi Everyone,

An unscheduled update was applied to the Calendar Block and prevented us from accessing Moodle until the update was rolled back. Has anybody seen something like this before or could anyone provide any insight on what the cause of this might be? The error we began receiving is as follows:

ERROR: missing param "contexslevel" in query

If anyone could provide some assistance with this that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Need lots more info... what version of Moodle are you on? What version did you try to upgrade too? What OS, DB etc (including versions).

Is that the actual error message? Is full debugging switched on? If your site is inaccessible after the upgrade, you might need to edit config.php directly to force debugging on - see https://docs.moodle.org/39/en/Debugging#In_config.php for instructions.

And finally, why was it just the Calendar block being upgraded? That’s core Moodle so it’s strange to target just that one block without upgrading everything else. (Not being smart, just trying to understand in order to help).
