Hello all!
I had used Moodle a while back but that project has had a period of inactivity. We're looking at getting it back going and for other reasons one step in that process is a server migration. I tried both the new host's automatic installer and manually uploading and extracting files for Moodle 3.9.1 -- either way all I can get from it is the least informative error message ever:
[an error occurred while processing this directive]
How do I troubleshoot this?

Well, for one thing, you are not attempting a migration but new installs.
Not enough information ...
What operating system? (makes a difference in how to install) Where hosted? (and how ... shared/dedicated/other) Does your server meet specs for running 3.9.1? Apache/Nginx? MySQL/MariaDB (and versions), php version?
While Moodle docs has info like that for each version of Moodle, this blog:

does a nice job in putting it all on one screen.
Have you Googled that error? It's a web service error that could have many causes.
And, have you read/followed any docs/tutorials for installing Moodle? If so where (url please).
