Question regarding embedding PowerPoint

Hi there. I am currently developing some assignments and would like to embed a powerpoint presentation above the written text I have created, but I am not certain what to do, what html code to use, in order to ensure the powerpoint is embedded and not showing up as a link that has to be clicked.

Hi, Laurie,

You might consider saving the presentation as a Flash file. Open Office will do that for you. Then you can simply upload the presentation link to it. If you have your multimedia filter enabled, it should show up for you.

Otherwise, you should be able to use the embed tag. (Embed tags are disabled by default, however this setting may be changed in the Permissions section of Administration >> Configuration >> Variables.)

Hope that helps,
Art
