This question is in the wrong forum, perhaps you might be better off asking a Moderator to move it to Comparisons and Advocacy. You will get a more comprehensive answer there, I suspect.

The intent of Moodle is to provide a consistent platform for "Learners" to engage in education, training or any intellectual development. A learner can be anyone who is able to use a computer and wants to expand their practical and/or theoretical skills base.

The practicality of Moodle is that it provides a consistent platform for "Instructors" to develop resources and activities for Learners to engage with to allow them to expand their practical and/or theoretical skills base.

The benefit of Moodle is that it is a mode of communications between Learners and Instructors in a variety of ways which ultimately allows both Learners and Instructors to improve their practical and intellectual abilities by delivering opportunities for the development of a body of work demonstrating those skills and abilities.

The practical reality of Moodle is - it's fun.😁.... except for the new emojis, they suck.
