Gareth, I have discovered your new edition of “Course page further information” to your already great Collapsed Topics plugin. I like what I see. However, I was wondering why there is nothing for “Forums?” Forums now have due dates, and maybe there could be some flag for “activity” like there is for Quizzes, Assignments, etc. So is there something about forums that made adding forums to “further information” or might it be that you are still working on this additional feature.
In my courses, I use Quizzes, Assignments, and Forums. If I show students “further information” about Quizzes and Assignments, I am sure they will ask about Forums. Also, by not showing them anything about Forums, it might give some students a false sense of security that they do not have to make posts.
In my posted picture, the Introduce Yourself forum does have a due data and grade. The "Any Questions" is not graded, meaning that there is no due date or "rating." Ideally, only Forums that are using some kind of grading/rating method need to have "further information."
