A few weeks ago I upgraded our Moodle platform from 3.5.1 to 3.8.3. I did it without upgrading to all the intermediate versions and it seemed to work OK.
Now, a few weeks later, I have been warned by some students that the images are missing inside the courses activities. I have been searching Moodle forums up and down, trying everything other users with a similar problem suggested, with no success.
It seems that only the images belonging to activities are missing, but not the "public" ones: I can see profile images and course description images.
Checking their URLs, I can see a difference: the images inside course activities have been kind of "prettified", but as far as I am aware, I don't have any configuration regarding this. This is an example of how these URLs look:
|Course description image||Yes|
|Image inside lesson activity||No|
|Image inside lesson description||No|
This is the error I get when the debugging is enabled:
No hay argumentos válidos suministrados o la configuración del servidor es incorrecta
Error code: invalidargorconf
- line 494 of /lib/setuplib.php: moodle_exception thrown
- line 4140 of /lib/filelib.php: call to print_error()
- line 44 of /pluginfile.php: call to file_pluginfile()
Another factor that may be related to the problem is that I don't have slash arguments activated, since when I do activate it my whole Moodle theme breaks (Boost theme).
I have spent days trying to diagnose the problem, with no luck. Any hint you can provide me is highly appreciated.
