Mind describing just how you 'mistakenly uninstalled the collapse button'? Are we talking about an addon - collapsed topics?
Additional info would help ... like Moodle version ... what sort of access you have to your server (last one could be related to 'reinstalling' depending upon what/how whatever was deleted).
Thanks Ken for your reply. I am a moodle administrator, I do not have access to the server. The Moodle version is 3.8.2. I uninstalled the collapse button of the htmlAtto editor by performing a test so that it was not visible in the editor, not knowing that it only had to be deleted in the configuration. Sorry if the text is not clear in English but I am using google translate. Thank you
Not sure am following.
On your Moodle server logged on a an admin level user, go to:
Site administration -. Plugins -> Text editors -> Atto HTML editor -> Atto toolbar settings
There you should see a dialog box for "Toolbar config"
Top line of that box is:
collapse = collapse
Is that what you removed?
OR, did you use any 'uninstall' link on the same page in path above?
The 'Show/hide advanced buttons' ... uninstall?
Top line of that box is: collapse = collapse. Is that what you removed? NOT
OR, did you use any 'uninstall' link on the same page in path above? The 'Show/hide advanced buttons' ... uninstall? YES
When you un-installed Show/hide advanced buttons it showed a confirm screen which said:
You are about to uninstall the plugin Show/hide advanced buttons. This will completely delete everything in the database associated with this plugin, including its configuration, log records, user files managed by the plugin etc. There is no way back and Moodle itself does not create any recovery backup. Are you SURE you want to continue?
In other words a lot has changed in your code/files as well as database.
There is no separate plugin available for download to re-install.
So ... only option is to acquire a copy of the version of moodle you are running and do what might be a minor update to version.
version Moodle 3.8.3+
And perform an *update* - not an upgrade as that would attempt to take your server to 3.9 and your server might not meet specs for upgrade.
Ok. Thank you for your help!!
Oh, mis-read that ...
In the settings for the Atto editor, there is 'toolbar config' box.
Below it is Default.
1st line is:
collapse = collapse
In the settings for TinyMCE a little more complicated looking but
it does show a defaults as well.
