For me this begs the question:
What does cPanel (and probably other web managers) do differently in terms of security? This is because its default configuration allows users to upload files to the server via the Moodle interface.
Or DOES it do something differently at all (aside from creating a different Linux user for each account)? Are we compromising on security by keeping it this way?
