Terribly sorry but I didn't clock this area before posting on General help. 

My issue is detailed here: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=405223

Some further details though, once I SSHed in I did clock that the user permissions were set up like this:

-rw-rw-r-- 1 daemon daemon

Not 100% sure that's relevant TBH, but it might help.

It is always nice if you could document the solution here. There are others having the same problem.

Also, marking the discussion as resolved, e.g. adding [RESOLVED] to the subject line, is good practice.

I tried! smile But I don't seem to be able to edit the subject line now... perhaps I'm missing something? Also, it was merely a question of changing the permissions using `sudo`
