Problem.
We have the site news (Announcements ??) on the our front page, where staff post general student notices.
Is there any way I can subscribe all my students to this forum. Posting by students is disabled, and hence they have to manually subscribe to get an an email.
I cannot see a way to get the standard forum settings for this site news forum on the front page.
I notice there is an announcements block .. Not sure how it works.... but it seems to have the functionality I want .. but then I would lose 10 years of posts..
Are we talking a database hack ?
