Transferring MOODLE server from one PC to another.

Hi,

I tried to transfer my backup MOODLE server onto another PC, however when clicking on MOODLE START. It came up with "Do you want to refresh the XAMPP installation?" Then it has some other language. Then it has :

1) Refresh now! (Jetzt aktualisieren?)

x) Exit (Beenden)

I have never had this before, and I do not want to crash my site.

Please advise

In my little experience with XAMPP, XAMPP sees itself "belonging" to the PC that it was installed on. So when you move it to another PC, it is lost. Since XAMPP can be easily deleted and reinstalled, I would give #1 a try. The worst case scenario is that it doesn't work. You still have XAMPP running on your original computer.

Others here on Moodle.org with more experience might be able to guide you better than I can. I just wanted to get the conversation going.
