First time poster!
I'm helping with a research project, looking to increase the competency of psychologists when engaging and treating men. We plan to do this by developing and testing a free training course that covers a range of topics on how psychologists can change their practices and treatments by viewing them through a gendered lens.
To get a good indication on the efficacy of our training course (aside from the obligatory pre and post surveys, measuring KAPs) we would like to measure 'skills in action' by integrating a video solution with our course that does the following:
- Plays a pre-recorded video of a client expressing a typical emotion/scenario from men in therapy;
- Then either based on a timer or user interaction (eg a "go" button), turns on the learner's camera (whether on computer or mobile) and records their response (hopefully aligned with what was taught in the course) to the pre-recorded video.
- This video is then accessed and assessed by our team to understand whether there has been real shifts in competency. If we can do this via the same video platform, that is a bonus!
- Extra bonus points if we can pass a userID from the course to the video solution to line up course interactions with video outputs. This is a 'nice to have'.
Hoping someone knows of a such a solution that works with Moodle (either on-prem or hosted).
