Okay, good start. First, go back and update the Like scale you created so that "Scale" is "Like" (not "A" as it appears in your screenshot). Second, update the forum. In the Ratings section, set "Aggregate type" to "Average of ratings". Then set "Type" to "Scale". Then set "Scale" to "Like".
Thank you. I got it.
However, isn't "count" better than "average" for likes?
Hi
I have noticed that ordinary users (course creator, student, ...) are not able to "like". In other words, they are not able to rate. See this:
What can be the root of this issue?
Do users have the permission "forum:rate" for the forum in question? Without it, they won't be able to rate (like) posts. https://docs.moodle.org/en/Capabilities/mod/forum:rate
I set that for student role. Now, I see the combo box, but when I select "like" nothing happens.
