Hello

-We have three Moodle servers (v. 3.2 and 3.6) with courses whose evaluations are in SCORM format.

-Until two days ago everything worked correctly

-For two days we have been receiving complaints from students saying that they do the tests but they do not keep the grade.

-The incidence occurs in all courses on all servers


After many tests I have discovered that the problem only occurs when using Google Chrome, with Firefox and Internet Explorer it works correctly.

Google Chrome did not give problems until now, in fact it is the browser that we recommend to our students.

I have looked at the Google version and it turns out that it was updated three days ago to version 83.0.4103.61

I have uninstalled version 83 and returned to 81, and with that version it WORKS CORRECTLY.

Conclusion: The latest update to Google Chrome (83.0.4103.61) prevents SCORMs from delivering the note to the Moodle server.

Is anyone experiencing the same problem? 

Any solution, apart from changing browser?

To solve the problem:
Go to chrome://flags/#allow-sync-xhr-in-page-dismissal
Change the flag "Allows synchronous XHR requests in page dismissal" to "Enabled"

OK, we found a provisional solution:

Changing to "Enabled" the flag "Allows synchronous XHR requests in page dismissal" in Chrome, solves the problem,.

Now we must a definitive solution.

is your 3.6 running 3.6.9 or higher? - we fixed this in MDL-67175

Our servers are 3.7.1, 3.4.2+,3.2.1+ and 3.6.

MDL-67175 helped us solve the problem.
