The backup you made from shared hosting should have included a zip of moodlecode.   Was probably in public_html folder.

It's that zip that should have a backup folder in it when unzipped and inside the backup folder the two missing files.

See pic

Using whatever tool you have to upload files, upload those files to your moodlecode/backup/ directory.

Sorry for the slow response.

I have made a backup folder according to your direction.

Now what happens when I click the backup button in a course, appears like this:

while for the import course it can run normally now.

I've tried to turn debuging on but it doesn't show anything.

Thank you for the solution that was given before, this is very meaningful for me.

Regards,

Patrick

Still broken as the  [  [  backupcourse  ]  ] from your screen shot indicates.

Did you click on the 'more info' lnk?  Where (url) did it take you?

So you had to manually create a backup folder at that location?

Wonder what other files/folders are missing in your moodle code directory?

In your backup folder, do you see all the other directories and files as in the
screen shot I provided?  backup.class.php, + the other backupX.php files, the cc, controller, converter folders?   import.php and log.php also?
if not upload those as well.

Let's hope these are the only missing folders/files from your migration.  If there are, expect strange things to happen. sad

There are 46262 files and folders in a moodle 3.8 code folder.   If you get more errors about files not found or other strange behavior, might be easier to preserve the config.php file you have edited in the current moodle code directory (so you don't loose it and your site info), and try the migration of code again.

Seeing as you are having these issues, Ken is right - you might end up with more along the way. I suggest redownloading the entire code folder from Moodle and upgrading to 3.8.3 (backup first of course)...hopefully that will fill in any gaps. Also, you might check permissions on your folders too.

Visvanath Ratnaweera - pointed you to how to migrate.   Did you review?

At this point, what Emma said!  +100!
