I really like the question types like 'select missing words' but I have one question about the use of html in the choices. The way I read the documentation suggests that some limited html is allowed: "This question type wants to let you use a very limited selection of HTML (just <i>, <b>, <sup> and <sub>). Therefore, if what you want to use is HTML, then < has to be input as < (the ampersand character followed by the characters lt with no space between them);. Not user friendly, but there is no easy way around that."
Using Moodle 3.7 I have been trying to use <sub>1</sub> to make a subscript 1 but get an error (see attached pic)
(The β is fine on its own.)
Is this just my mis-reading of the documentation? I am not site admin and have not asked there yet - I thought I'd check if it is a known issue before doing that.
