Hi

I installed Moodle v 3.8.3 on inmotionhosting using softaculous.

it take a long time to load main page and moving to another pages .

I tested my domain https://c-auditors.net/ by  https://gtmetrix.com/ and give this rustle:

Fully Loaded Time : 8.9s

Is this problem from my hosting or JS moodle .

thanks

Problem might be this ... "inmotionhosting using softaculous" ... first point of contact for issues should be Inmotion hosting ... who provide you with 'Softac'.

Softac doesn't follow moodle docs for installing.

https://docs.moodle.org/38/en/Installing_Moodle

Now if InMotion Hosting' folks are sending you here to volunteer community for resoultion to a problem that very well could be a hosting/Softac problem, it's criminal!

No one here gets paid ... but you are paying for hosting with InMotion and since InMotion provided you Softac, shouldn't they provide support for things they allow their customers to use?

Sorry ... you might be between a rock and a hard place. :|

^^ What Ken said.

We don't provide the Softaculous installer. Your hosting company did. We have absolutely no idea what it does so neither we nor you know how your Moodle was installed. Which is a bit of a problem.

What is the specification of your hosting. Moodle is a large application. You may not have the resources.

What Howard said!!!   You've not answered the question but stated that via some tool you've used to check, has reported X.   But, here again ... if resources are not the issue, then, as Howard says from time to time ... 'prove it'.

Moodle is an app ... it's not the operating system.   It does NOT have any setting to 'control' networking.  It might have settings that need tweaking for better performance related to the code.  There is also DB server (we know nothing about that) and the web service in front of it all.

Devils are always in the details ... and sometimes ... in places 'we' (including you) didn't think about checking. smile

What is the exact problem? From this end your site loads reasonably.

Whatever the problem is, how do you know it is not related to resources? How did you analyse? You can find methods, solutions and other ideas in the documentation of the Hardware and performance forum at https://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=596.
