SCORM Activity completion settings beeing updated

When I create a SCORM activity, I use following activity completion settings:

Require status passed: checked

Require status completed: unchecked


When I edit the activity at a later time to update a description or change the SCORM package, I notice that these settings have been changed to:

Require status passed: checked

Require status completed: checked


This means that the students get activity completion, even when failing..... 

It seems to happen randomly, or if I save the activity setting even without changes. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Is there a way to make sure that the settings remain??


Using Moodle 3.5.6+ (Build: 20190628)

I have a moodle version 3.7 that has the same characteristics.

Did you resolve the issue?

Hi Peter!

Sorry. Unfortenately not.
It is still a mystery to me.

My best advise at this point is to double check the setting every time you have altered the setting in any way.
