Students unsuscribe from course

Hi i am with moodle 3.8

I have created a course and opened self enrollment. 200 students were enrolled, which was the limit I chose.

The point is that although the course has not started yet (it begins on May 6), the platform dropped almost all pre-registrants.

I guess because the course was set to unsubscribe inactive users for 14 days.

I see here a platform issue if this is so.

The question is how can I retrieve those registrations without the students having to re-register.

They are all as registered users of the platform. Where can I find the information of who of them enrolled in the course? From already thank you very much.

Sorry, Oli, but that's not a 'platform issue' (by which I understand you to mean that Moodle is doing something wrong, my apologies if that's not what you meant!). Moodle is doing exactly what your settings told it to do. It is behaving as instructed.

You probably will need to investigate the logs to find the examples of each student originally enrolling themselves and then re-enrol them manually. Though you could first check the participants list to make sure they are not on there but 'suspended' rather than actually having been removed (if you haven't already done so)?

Thanks so much. My language is Spanish so I apologize for the mistakes made. I think that self-enrollment should count from the beginning of the course and not from the moment the student self-enrolls. That I thought was the philosophy behind the condition. Now I understand.
Where can I find the student logs?

Hi Oli. Please don't apologise for your excellent English!

Logs - On your course, go to the course settings menu and look up the reports. You can find the entries where a student has enrolled (I "logged on as..." to do the screenshot below, so it says Admin user as, which yours wont.

Hello, I didnt know how to start a new topic or where to post my questions so ill just ask here. I would like to temporarily suspend students, e.g. give them a 1 week suspension. is there a command on the system that can automatically lift the suspensions after a week?

my second question is, I set up a quiz that only has one attempt but I would like to set up the quiz to allow for a second attempt 2 weeks after the first attempt. I cannot set a specific date as students will be accessing the course in their own time. Please help.

I can only answer your second question. In Moodle 3.9 the quiz module allows to set up an extra restriction on attempts.

enforce delay of second attempt

Initially, you need to set up your quiz with 2 attempts. Regardless when the first attempt is submitted, a student has to wait 2 weeks for his second attempt.
