Apache server not starting in new install

Apache server not starting in new install

I downloaded the Moodle4Mac 3.7.5 package for my iMac. I was able to install, and I can open MAMP, but the Apache server will not start. I receive the error seen in the attached image (Apache couldn't be started. Please check your MAMP installation and configuration). The MySQL server starts and I'm able to upgrade it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response.   Don't use MAMP often ... and hadn't used my VB either in a while ...

Did you upgrade MacOS to new Catalina 10.4 or .5?

Had issues with launching apps already installed ...

Check:

Close Virtual Box (or any app like MAMP) (and ensure it's gone from the dock)

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy

Click on Privacy

In the left-hand pane, select Full Disk Access

Using the + button, find the MAMP.app (or any APP) file (in the Applications folder) and double-click on it

Above fixed issue for me.
