Remove domain list in "This email is not one of those that are allowed" line

Is it possible to remove the domains from this line when someone tries to register by email?

"This email is not one of those that are allowed (domains.com, domains.com, domains.com)"

I have quite a few different domains that I'm allowing, and I would prefer for them to not be advertised when someone enters the wrong domain.

The easiest way would be to edit the language pack. Go to Site administration > Language > Language customisation. Choose “Moodle” from the list and in the “String identifier” box, search for emailonlyallowed

The standard text is

This email is not one of those that are allowed ({$a})

The {$a} is a placeholder variable for the actual list of domains so if you delete it, the domains will not be shown.

Changes to the language pack are kept in upgrades so you shouldn’t need to change it again.
