Restoring a STACK questions from backup, it seems that the cache is not included, so that maxima results must be recomputed. At least, I experience long delays, often exhausting the PHP limit on execution time. Please correct me if there are other plausible explanations for this than rebuilding the cache.

Is it possible to regenerate the entire cache in batch?  

In the particular case, I do performance testing, so I need to be sure that the reconstructing the cache does not pollute the results.

Sorry if this is a FAQ.  STACK is a very unfortunate name for a software module ... it attracts myriads of false hits.
