I am trying to get unoconv up and running correctly whilst waiting for Google to authorise my app (that's a whole other story!) so that we can convert assignments to PDF...
I have followed the docs here Universal_Office_Converter_(unoconv) and installed unoconv on our Ubuntu 18.04 server. The docs then talk about creating an upstart script for Ubuntu in /etc/init/ mod/assign/feedback/editpdf/testunoconv/upstart but Ubuntu hasn't used upstart since version 16.04... It now uses systemd
I have tried making use of the systemd definition for Red Hat here: mod/assign/feedback/editpdf/testunoconv/systemd but that doesn't seem to be working...
After starting the service I run:
systemctl status unoconv.service -lto check the status and am presented with:
● unoconv.service - Unoconv listener for document conversions Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/unoconv.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: inactive (dead) since Tue 2020-04-28 13:27:32 BST; 3min 37s ago Docs: https://github.com/dagwieers/unoconv Process: 31903 ExecStart=/usr/bin/unoconv --listener (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 31903 (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Does anyone have any clues about how to get Unoconv working correctly on Ubuntu 18.04?
