I think you can do what you want with the random questions, but it will take a little "reorganization" of your question categories where you need to create multiple categories so you can group questions by your desired point values.
For example, put all the questions you want to be worth 2 points in one category, e.g. 2points. Put all the questions you want to be worth 3 points in another category, e.g. 3points. Repeat for all the point values.
In editing your quiz, set it up to add x number of questions from category, 2points. In the same place Dominique showed you, change the 1 to 2.
Again in editing your, tell it to add x number of questions from category, 3 points. Again change the 1's to 3's.
Repeat until done with x number of questions from each point category.
