i am the admin of our university's moodle website. we have close to 1000 courses, 400 teachers and 5500 students. some of our teachers are also head of their respective departments. since they needed to observe classes in their department, i've created a role named "dept-head" with parent role "none editing teacher" and enrolled them into all courses in their department. now they have access to review all courses in their department. every one of the courses appear in their "my courses" block as expected. but the problem is that, there is no classification based on their role in the course. in other words, it would be perfect for them to have several tabs in the block (one for each role... like teacher, dept-head), or at least a way to determine which courses are their teaching courses an which ones are their observing courses. i have gone through settings and also 3rd party blocks and plugins with no luck. any help would be appreciated.
