How to set SMTP server for Moodle 3.7?

Email failed to sendFailed to send an email from the user with id '2' to the user with id '-99' due to the following error: "SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting".


we got above error while setting SMTP server and unable to connect. How to solve this error?

Without knowing how your server is set up, the settings are found in the admin settings/server/outgoing mail configuration
