I've tried to hide a html block from logged in users following the instructions in: https://docs.moodle.org/38/en/Blocks_FAQ?fbclid=IwAR3OKh69cxrRX-oO5uBmJJJ2YVZJVPPdbCK4HYLW-ryomcaNnFWsoeWpvlY#How_do_I_hide_front_page_blocks_from_non-logged-in_users.3F
(turn editing on > permissions > view block > remove "authenticate user")
but it is not working in moodle 3.8.
I also tried removing the view permission from every role except guests, but still not working. Only when I also remove guests it hides the block, but also to non logged in users I needed to show the block before login and then hide it.
Can anyone help?
