Duplicate a course

Duplicate a course

I am trying to duplicate a course using the back up and then the restore course. But after dropping my back up in the import and click restore I get a "changes you have made may not be saved".

A total catch 22. I am the site admin, I am using the latest version of Moodle with the Lambda Theme and am working on Chrome. Have anybody seen this behaviour before?

Import?
Backup the course with a new name that is easy to find/remember.
Restore the course with the new name.
Two courses cannot have the same unique identifiers. (short name/Course ID).

It is just a browser warning because you are leaving a page that you have entered text - it is nothing to do with the course itself.

Normally it is a warning but the Moodle does not pick up the back up but delete the file dropped into the upload when moving forward.

Are you waiting until the file is uploaded? Have you tried with another theme?
