IE 5.3 on Mac: no HTML Editor toolbar!

Hi all
I've a problem with a teacher using a Mac.
With IE (5.3?) he cannot see the HTML editor toolbar.

Installing Firefox on the same Mac (and using the same user in the same course) the toolbar is ok.

User profile options are correct.

Any idea?

Hi,

Some time ago I had a same problem using IE6. BUt also ussing firefox the problem occured after cleaning the cachefiles of the browser.
IE6 and Firefox were downloading the images of the html-editor.
As firefox succeeded after a (long) while and after restarting, IE6 never could go to the end.
I tought the reason was IE6.
On other computers on a different place everuthing went oké. So I began thinking to look at my homecomputer and network.

I started to set off all firewaals, virusscanners, and so.

Finally I found that when I putted up the firewall of my router I had the problem with the HTML-editor.
Till today I dont understand how it can be possible, but from now on working with the HTML-editor goes very good.

The firewalls on every pc does their work.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I think my problem cannot be a firewall (either external or internal), as Firefox  works correctly on the same machine and many other PCs (no other Mac, actually) on the same local network do not have any problem.
