I started out (as a new user) looking for an online communication platform and was taken by BBB which I bought a subscription to. I dont have my own server. So when BBB provider produced the links they advised I needed MOODLE to launch the BBB. So I got into MOODLE FREE, but I cant see anywhere I can now link to BBB other than using the BBB assigned to the free moodle. Where have I missed something?
I may not have understood this but starting to use Moodle just so you can webconference through Bigbluebutton is a bad idea. Unless you are using the many features Moodle has to offer, you are creating unnecessary complications
Contact the server that runs BBB to find out how to run it standalone.
True, it didn't occur to me. But a big convenience through the plug-in in Moodle: the participants are already organized in their respective courses.
