IMO: Moodle's method of moving on to the next question in a quiz could be a little more clear.
At the bottom of the question there is a "Next Page" button which means submit your answer and go on to the next page. Below that there is a quiz navigation "finish attempt" link. So which is it?
IMO: "Next Page" does not really tell you exactly what you are doing.
This is a common misconception: When go to the next page Moodle saves the answers in the outgoing page, that does not submit anything. You can submit the whole in one go, there is special button (differently labeled) on the last page.
The "saving" the answer feature could be crucial if your batteries drain during the exam!
@Mary, in your one page exam, there'll be nothing to recover after a violent exit, typically the session being timed out.
Whatever, you should remember that quizz is not designed for you nor for me, it is designed for all. it is one feature the big TEAMS-and-FORMS-craze can not beat.
