On most of my course pages, I have the "Add Topics" button at the bottom:
For a couple classes, however, there is no "Add Topics" button:
I'm guessing I did something to cause this, but I don't know what, and after searching the Admin and Edit Course Settings areas, I can't find an answer to add the "Add Topics" button again.
Can you help me fix this? I appreciate your time and help!

I am having the same problem. I created the course to have 5 topics. Then realized that I needed one more but the link to add more topics has disappeared from the course. Anyone know what can be done to fix this?
SOLVED: in the Course Defaults, there is an item called: Maximum number of sections. Mine was set to 5 and so Moodle wouldn't allow me to have more. I changed it to 10 and the link showed back up.

Where do you find this "Course Defaults" area? I looked in my "Edit Settings" area, and I can't find what you're describing.
I would appreciate your help. I still have not resolved this problem.
