Welsh Decimal Separator

Welsh Decimal Separator

We've noticed that the decimal separator in the Welsh language pack is set to be a comma.

I believe this is incorrect from checking with out Welsh translator.  Welsh should use a period.

Do people agree?  Assuming they do, I am not clear on how to suggest it be changed.

Hi Anthony,

You can suggest that the decimal separator is changed by submitting the change on the Translation site, as described in the documentation Contributing a translation.

The decimal separator can be found in the component core_langconfig and has string identifier decsep.

You also need to know what the thousand separator is to be able to change the decimal separator. At the moment the thousand separator is a period in the Welsh language pack. Changing the decimal comma to a period without changing the thousand separator would generate very weird numbers wink
