Error using Postgres

Hi all,
Some of our students are getting errors submitting HotPot questions.
An example of this error is:

Could not add question record for attempt '337': ERROR: value too long for type character varying(255)

we are using Postgres 7.4 on Linux (UBUNTU).

Do anyone have any idea ?

Hi Tony,

please could you tell me what version of the Moodle and what version fo the HotPot module you are using (Admin -> Configuration -> Modules)

Also, please could you upload the quiz to my PostgreSQL site, so I can test it there

Moodle version is Moodle 1.5.3+ (2005060230)
HotPot mod version is 2005031420

The error is random. A couple of students reported it, but I was not able to see the error myself.
For uploading the quiz to your site I've to ask the teacher of that course before and I'll ask to students if the error is on a single quiz or on many
