Heads up: Moodle 3.8.2 release (and other minors) - March 9th

Hi All,

On Monday March 9th we will be releasing Moodle 3.8.2, as well as Moodle 3.7.5, 3.6.9 and 3.5.11. 

These minor releases will include bug-fixes as well as security improvements. It is recommended that you upgrade your site to the new versions. 

Also note that security support for Moodle 3.6.x will end on 11 May 2020. If you are running Moodle 3.6.x it is recommended you upgrade to a more recent and supported version as soon as possible.

According to the graph in the previous post https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=397787 release 3.9 is not LTS?

OK, thanks! I hope that the unseen part doesn't bring surprises!

I'd rather wish the "permanent" release calendar without the differentiation past, future and present. Because they change. One just has to draw a vertical line to find the living branches. Instead a colour code for "feature updates" and "security updates" needs to be there.

Would it be possible in the current situation to extend support for version 3.6. with security patches? Many institutions are currently under much more pressure because so much teaching will take place online, so it would be nice if you could postpone an update...
