How do I attach files to MoodleDocs?
Number of replies: 4
I want to attach two files to a page on https://docs.moodle.org/dev/. Through the "Embedded file" widget I got the mark thumb, which I edited to myfile.csv and so get a new page where there is a form to upload the file. Once I upload the file it tells me ".csv" is not a permitted file type. Permitted file types are png, gif, jpg, jpeg, dia, ai, pdf, svg, flac, mkv, mov, mp3, mp4, oga, ogg, ogv, wav, webm. How do I go ahead?
There second file waiting is myfile.jmx, which is also a text file in XML format.

Only now I see that the editor has destroyed my marking!

Here are the screen-shots to describe: a) what I set on the page b) the web form to upload the file.

Re: How do I attach files to MoodleDocs?
Is this that complicated? Could somebody just attach two text files, something.jmx and something.csv, to https://docs.moodle.org/dev/JMeter and demonstrate that it is possible?
Re: How do I attach files to MoodleDocs?
As .jmx and .csv are not permitted file types for uploading to Moodle Docs, may I suggest instead that you post in a forum here on moodle.org and attach the files. You can then link to your forum post from the page in Moodle Docs.

So much I know! This incident doesn't improve the bad taste I get when MoodleDocs are being mentioned. I'm Sorry!
AFAIC, we can close the thread here.
