Backslashes stripped when moving from secondary to the main glossary

Steps to reporoduce:

1) create a secondary glossary
2) create a main glossary
3) in the secondary glossary, create an entry with some TeX markup using
backslashes
4) export the entry to the main glossary (red plus)
5) observe the totally mangled entries, both in the main and in the secondary
glossary.

This is due to disappearing backslashes. Any ideas, workarounds, patches, anything?

We are using "moodle 1.5.2 + (2005060222)", whatever that means. (Sorry, I am not the admin, but I guess I'll have better chances with our admins if I come with a solution ready smile) )
