I'm having issues with a Module leader, they are opening up the grade book for one his modules and exporting to an Excel friendly format but when looking at the grade book in excel, five students' grades are presented as .5% in Excel but not in the Gradebook on Moodle.
Here is an example of Moodle outputs to .csv:
First name | Assignment 2: | Actual Gradebook grade |
Student 1 | 52.5 | 53 |
Student 2 | 82.5 | 83 |
Student 3 | 63.5 | 64 |
Student 4 | 80.5 | 81 |
The marking scale is set to 100 so it should only use non-decimal numbers when exporting?
Any have any idea as to why it is exporting it this way? There are more students that were in the table with non-decimal grades which matched up in the grade book on Moodle, but I have noticed that the grades outputted for excel were within .5 under the actual grade, is Moodle rounding down the grades when exporting the data to Excel?
Does anyone have any ideas?
