I am sure this question must have been asked before but I am having trouble wading through it.
Very simply, I gave an exam with 50 questions on it. The first forty questions were required and were worth 2.5 points each and the last ten were "extra credit" and worth one point each. If a student completes the required questions and gets them all right, their point value is 100 but their percentage value is 90 (as the max value is 110). How can I adjust the grade to show a value of 100% for getting the required questions right.
(I don't mind if the extra credit brings the score over 100% (technically impossible I suppose) or it remains at the max of 100.)
