Had an interesting issue with a troubled server.
Normal access to the moodle site rendered an error page about DB ... can't connect. Contact admin ... yellow background screen.
When looking over web services logs saw active users interacting with SCORM's!!! Site is in the process of moving from standalone to Moodle Spaces and some courses (I assume, don't have access, but have been told) have been moved to Moodle Spaces. Would a SCORM reference content on a Moodle server without logging on?
The other activity was coming from some back end system entity using via Web Services calls.
Neither of those I would think possible ... should at least throw errors back to clients - even if the site a 2.7.highest (yeah, I know ... entity deathly afraid of breaking their automated backend web services and refused to upgrade).
Problems with DB server were resolved, BTW.
Thanks, in advance, Ken
