I need to be able to control Moodle messaging as in the image.
Students and Teachers should not be able to message each other (or be discoverable to each other), but communication between all other levels should be possible.
This may seem a little strange but we have many students who are children and so the 'student' in Moodle is actually the parent, so we need to ensure the parents communicate with the relevant Head of Studies, rather than directly with the teacher.
We have had messaging turned off since implementation as I suspect the permissions don't currently allow for this setup but if anyone can suggest a way I can achieve this it would be much appreciated.
