[3.8] - PHP memory limit / cache problem / shared hosting

Hi,

I'm running a Moodle site on a shared hosting plan. Last week, when I tried to do a quiz (random questions) with 12 students, the site couldn't handle this. When I tried it with 5 students, it worked fine. Has this something to do with PHP memory_limit? I've already set this to 512MB.

Or could this rather be a cache problem? I have no idea how cache works. When I log in as a teacher, you can find the results in the file added.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Thomas

It's probably just that your hosting has insufficient resources. What is the 'spec'? I would have thought most inexpensive shared hosting wouldn't be my first choice for running a quiz sad
