We have just upgraded to 3.7 here. I've been receiving emails from faculty saying that there is a problem with Quickmail. I read that there is an issue going on with it at the moment. I want to share the news with campus, but I'd like to offer them an alternative. So my question is in regards to Messaging.
I see that there are a few new features in regards to messaging, one of which is group digest emails. My main question is that if a teacher sends out a group message to all students in the class, will an email automatically go to the students' inboxes regardless of whether they are on or offline? Or will only those offline receive the message in their inbox and those online will receive in the messages portal?
Since people love the option to group send an email to the students, I want to be able to offer them something similar, but feel that if it is only specifically sent to offline users via email, they may have an issue with that.
