Hi, we have a student, who was accidentally given the 'Manager' role ( for the course level) for some reason, who now cannot access his marks and his completion statuses are not reporting in the regular reports.
There are 4 courses in total. Each course consists of a SCORM package (which is required to be viewed for completion), a final exam (requiring 70%), then a mandatory course feedback survey before printing their certificate.
The student has completed all course SCORM viewing and final exams with great scores, scoring 23 of 25ish each time.
But because of his role, his marks for the exams are not reporting as complete (ie. he doesn't show up in the reports with the other students) which means he is unable to complete the survey as well (when log in as him in the manager role, I get only the options to edit the survey, not to take it myself). This means he can never get a grade reported or completion status for either the final exam, or the survey, which also means no certificate access.
Is there any way to change his role to a student, while at the same time keeping his final exam grades intact? Changing him to a student role would allow him to complete the survey once available, but to do the survey, he needs to receive a mark for the exam, which he currently can't get a status for as a manager.
I made a dummy Manager account and did some quick testing, when I do exactly what he did, and switch to a student role, my dummy accounts attempts at the exams were reset and the data was lost it seems.
Any insight at all or advice would be appreciated! 151 other students (with actual student roles) have taken the courses without issue, this guy is an enigma.
