Recently upgraded to Moodle 3.8 (LAMP Ubuntu 18.04) and some users are randomly getting the following error message "Error writing to the database" when creating an assignment in a course. The issue started after we upgraded to 3.8.
The PHP log shows: "Database transaction aborted automatically in /var/www/course/modedit.php.
Any ideas anyone as to what the issue or resolution could be?
