If I used Moodle2Word to export a question bank can I now edit that file on a computer that does not have all the Moodle2Word macros installed? Can I send that Word file to someone to edit, and they email it back to me to upload and import it to Moodle?
Along the same lines, if I create a Word doc using the Moodle2Word macros for say 50 MC questions, send it to an instructor to type in their questions, and they send it back, will I be able to upload it to Moodle?

I only came across your query today, you should use the Quiz forum instead. To answer your question, you can share a Word file exported from Moodle with people who don't have the templates installed. The templates are most convenient when you want to create new questions. You don't need them to edit existing questions.
