Error when I upgrade block version

I created a block and it is working fine, but when I upgrade the version this error will show up:

This page isn’t working

localhost is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

What is the problem?
Also, when I try to remove the block, it will show the same error again. I think there is an error in upgrading the moodle version any ideas how I can solve it please?

Hi,

can you give more information like the version of Moodle you upgrade with which one ?
Which server do you use ? Do you try to restart it ?

We use moodle 3.39 in our school and Linux server, I really do not know much about the server and I think we cannot restart the server because my Boss will not allow it.
