So I thought. Well. How about I compile on Moodle 3.8 for Moodle 3.8 using babel ... that should work.
But it turns out that my old friend "grunt -f" no longer accepts my shabby line endings and variables_declared_but_not_used etc. Flat out nothing ends up in the build directory at all. It literally says:
"✖ 8621 problems (8621 errors, 0 warnings)
5885 errors, 0 warnings potentially fixable with the `--fix` option."This does all build ok on previous versions of Moodle.
What do I need to do for "grunt -f" to work on Moodle 3.8?
And has anybody got any insights into the issue where the JS UI elements on the page fail? (nav drawer, dropdown course admin options etc)?
